Affasci was derived from a word “Affascinante”, which in italian means Fascinating. Affasci's master perfumers have worked and have decades of expertise after which they created Affasci’s masterpieces.

Affasci was not born from a lab, It was born from a life in three acts- design, theater and music.

Affasci was conceptualized more than two years ago by the founder and the team.

For Surya Munjal, art was something that was to be felt and he felt it everywhere. As a graphic designer, he obsessed over detail, space and form. As a theater artist, he lived in characters, dialogue and silences. As a lover of music, he surrendered to sound- to the way a single note could give a person goosebumps, shift energies, make them happy and even bring someone to tears.

He spent eight years in the U.S., not following a straight path, but moving between his passions-- designing, acting and getting lost in music. One day he’d be designing posters, rehearsing under the dim glow of stage lights. Mornings were filled with designs and nights with practicing on stage and getting lost in music. The one thing that was common everywhere he noticed was scent, which is with the person 24/7 no matter wherever the person goes or does anything, it could be bad, good or amazing.

It is always there, quitely setting the tone.
The scent of a lead performer, the scent of a green room, the scent of a musician’s dressing room and the different scents of audience before the show began.
Scent is the only memory that never fades.
Surya realized scent is the silent-costar in every scene and every second of a persons life.

Affasci is his answer to that realization, a brand where scent would no longer be background, rather it would be a story.

He returned to India and assembled a team of perfumers, artists and visionaries. Together they created something:

2. Structured with the rhythm of music.
3. Performed with the emotion of theater.
